10 Family Fun Activities To Do In Your Home

Family fun begins at home. Now is the time to take full advantage of having the family all together under one roof. We have a few ideas for guaranteed smiles all around.

1.Slip and Slide: Ready for a good laugh? Enjoy your very own homemade slip and slide! With it being the first week of Spring, it is the perfect time to be outdoors with the family. Be sure to find your swimsuit and let loose with the kids!

What You Need:

  • Painter’s Tarp: (Dust off the tarp in your garage or head to your local paint store to get a 100 ft. tarp)
  • Tent Stakes: (optional) This will ensure that your tarp doesn’t slip and slide when you attempt to slip and slide!
  • Soap: Everyone knows in order to slip and slide you must have soap. You can pick this up at your local grocery store or you may find it under your kitchen sink.
  • Water Hose: Turn the water on and let the fun begin!

Good luck trying not to crack a smile when the entire family joins in on the fun!

2. Sidewalk Chalk: In need of a break from work or being indoors? Get outside for a fifteen minute break with the kids and let your imagination run wild! You will be surprised how some sunshine and creativity is just what you need to get back to being productive!

What You Need:

  • Pack of Chalk
  • Sunshine

3. The Extreme Cleaning Challenge: Find an area in your home in desperate need of some TLC. Split up the list between family members and set a timer to see who can complete the task the fastest. Plus, you are teaching your kids that cleaning can be fun when you call it “Extreme” or a “Challenge.”

4. Wacky Family Fashion Show: Set a timer and collect random clothes throughout the house and allow your kids to mix up your fashion looks. Each family member or pet has to take turns modeling the wacky looks. Be sure to get it on camera and look back on these wacky, fun times.

We’ve been working on our RealtySouth Rap!

What You Need:
